Resistance: Fall of Man tells an alternate history, where humanity sidesteps World War II and instead gets attacked by the Chimera. This invasion wipes out all of Europe and Russia in a matter of months and forces the isolationist Americans into action. Players become Sergeant Nathan Hale, who becomes infected with the Chimeran virus but fails to succumb to its body-altering effects. Armed with unique weapons and the help of the British Army, play through the reconquest of England and bring humanity back from the brink of extinction.
