PS3 owners are pretty pumped that they are getting to play BioShock. And not just any BioShock, but one with lots of extra content and updated graphics to boot. But that’s not enough for 2K, oh no, they want PS3 owners to really feel the love. One of their reps even said:

"The Boston team is the largest chunk of the BioShock team at the moment; many of them hard at work on some of the as-yet-unannounced components of the PS3 version. I can mention the work of one Boston team member, Ian Bond, who has been optimizing and refactoring the physics simulation for the game to take maximum advantage of the PS3 hardware."

That’s pretty exciting, but I hope the components go beyond physics refactoring and begin spilling out into the slightly more tangible. Perhaps an update that will allow you to communicate with Big Daddies via whale song and find out that they’ll gladly help you kill the Little Sisters, if only you would ask first instead of being all aggressive.
