After countless rumors regarding the state of the Playstation 3 version of EA’s upcoming RTS blockbuster Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, EA have today confirmed that the Playstation 3 version is in fact on hold so they can concentrate their efforts on the PC and Xbox 360 versions of the game. The rumors first appeared when a 15 minute gameplay demo walkthrough was released on the internet with no mention of the PS3 version.

Speaking to CVG, EA released this statement:

"Development of the PlayStation 3 version of Red Alert 3 is on hold, EA LA was focusing resources on developing for the PC and Xbox 360, for release this Autumn."

This week hasn’t been the best for Playstation fans with Eight Days and The Getaway all being canceled. Now, with Red Alert 3 being on hold indefinately one must think, what game is next? Be sure to check back to TheGameReviews.com for more information as we get it.
