Ted Price, head honcho at Insomniac Games, revealed a juicy little tidbit in a recent Q&A with Eurogamer. When asked about his thoughts on the PlayStation Network, Ted mentioned that, "I know there are a lot of great improvements in the works so I’d rather comment after they’ve become public."

"Great improvements," eh? And what might those be Mr. Price? With the recent revamp of the PlayStation Store, methinks wholesale changes may be coming? Perhaps voice chat support in every game and an easy way to set up matches with friends ala Xbox Live? Also, we’ve been hearing a lot about the launch of Home (albeit as a Beta) later this year, so maybe Price is privy to some details about how the service will shape up? Though let’s be honest, now that he’s gotten our hopes up anything short of a Chimera invasion that must be fought off through the purchase of sizzling outfits and branded merchandise will be a bit of a disappointment.

The whole interview is actually worth a read if you’re at all interested in Resistance 2 or Insomniac’s work as a whole. While there are a lot of details Price can’t talk about yet, what he does reveal should be enough to get fans pretty amped about the next installment in their beloved series.
