LittleBigPlanet Confirmed for October
Posted by James Barr, 132 days ago Jul 16, 2008 00:25

During Sony’s E3 press conference, Sony showed off LittleBigPlanet, but they showed it in a different kind of way. Instead of just putting a load of graphs up to show the growth of the industry and the Playstation brand, Sony got Sackboy to show off the numbers through a level completely made up from scratch by the team at Media Molecule. This didn’t just show off the impressive numbers: it showed off the sheer scope of customization that LittleBigPlanet gives the user to create any level that they want.

From what we saw, LittleBigPlanet is still looking amazing, but at the end of the presentation, Media Molecule announced that LittleBigPlanet will definitely be out this October, as part of a rather lengthy 2008 release schedule. Keep in mind: the last report placed the game in September, so there’s a subtle delay in this happy announcement. Be sure to check back to TGR for more E3 news.
