Anyone who has been eagerly awaiting the moment they could definitively prove that Sub-Zero could totally kick Superman’s ass needn’t wait much longer, as Midway has announced that Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe will hit store shelves on November 16.
The game, which features MK and DC favorites such as Scorpion, Batman, the Joker and Liu Kang, is a one-on-one fighter ala the Mortal Kombat games of old. A small bout of controversy erupted over the game earlier this year, when Midway announced that due to the game’s Teen rating and the restrictions placed on them by DC, the Fatalities would have to be toned down a bit. Still, once video emerged of the Joker shooting someone through the head with a pistol, all the gathering stormclouds immediately dissapated.
So for anyone who’s been kept up at night wondering who would win in a fight between Kano and Darkseid, fear not, your answer is coming soon. Of course, if that’ the sort of thing that keeps you up at night then it really might be time to find a hobby or two
