Posted by Nick2728, Dec 7, 2007 09:52

THQ released a statement today announcing that Marko Hein has been officially appointed to take over the post of General Manager at THQ International in Zurich, Switzerland. This appointment will place Hein in a position to analyze the products and services which THQ will offer to various international territories in which THQ has an economic interest. Hein will also be responsible for the direction of the brand new product evaluation team based in Zurich and also has the responsibility of creating product localization plans and being a part of the product approval process that has recently been implemented by THQ. Marko has previously held positions both at Koch Media, where he held the post of Director of Acquisition and Development, and from Nintendo Europe where he was involved in product analysis, strategic and operational business development in the European market, and product acquisition of 2nd party European software. Bom Aniello, Marko’s new boss at THQ International and the Senior Vice President of Global Marketing, stated that “"Marko brings a broad and deep range of experience to this new position.” Aniello also added that he was “confident that he(Hein)will play a vital role in monetizing our content and driving growth through new product and licensing opportunities."
