Vivendi Games, a branch of Sierra Entertainment, has released a statement today that it’s famous Leisure Suit Larry will be making his moves on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC, and mobile phones everywhere during the fall season of 2008. This latest Leisure Suit Larry adventure will find our schmoozing hero navigating his leisurely way through the upper crust of Hollywood in Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust. Larry decides to break his way into the cinema biz by working on his uncle’s movie lot as first an odd job man and then as a investigator trying to  find the identity of the spy threaten to air all of the dirty secrets that Uncle Larry has so carefully amassed.

In addition to trying to save good old Laffer Studios from the attentions of the tabloid press and public Leisure Suit Larry Box Office Bust also features the Director’s Game which gives players of Box Office Bust the chance to make their own “Larry Feature”. There will also be the same risque dialog that often fortified with ample doses of innuendo,  puzzle solving, fast driving to make sure you’re amused as well as entertained.

It wouldn’t be Hollywood without celebrities and Vivendi has lined up an all start cast of comedic talent such as Jay Mohr, Carmen Electra, Jeffery Tambor, Shannon Elizabeth, Dave Atell and others who will be offering their voice talent to stroke the fires of the trademark humor style of the Leisure Suit Larry titles. What will also be taken from the previous Leisure Suit Larry games is not just the writing style but also the carefully designed pixels which will be transformed into women of such beauty that they won’t look at Larry even once.
