Media company GGL stated today that is has added the Big Air Gaming League (BAGL) to its Sports and Celebrity League Series. The BAGL will make its first appearance at the 2008 Honda Session event, occurring in Vail, Colorado, and will bring celebrities, pro snowboarders, skaters, and X-gamers collectively into the world of competitive online gaming.

The BAGL event, which is open to all amateur gamers around the world, will go from February 8-10 and focus the attentions of extreme sports competitors and fans everywhere. There will be three live and public tournaments spread through the 2008 year that will be attended by snowboarders, skaters, and A-List celebrities who will be witnessing the competitions that use widely circulating titles like Guitar Hero III.

The winner of the BAGL Honda Competition will be awarded the Commissioner’s Necklace in addition to being formally dubbed the 2008 BAGL Commissioner (among who include Johnny Damon/Price Fielder and Snoop Dogg). The online competition winners will be awarded cash prizes, snowboards designed for the contest, and a grand total of three trips for next year’s Honda Session.
