Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is set to hit store shelves in late June. Activision announced today that if consumers pre-order the game, they are set to receive a few extras in return.
Special pre-order bundles of the game will contain a guitar controller, a copy of the game, a special edition Aerosmith guitar faceplate, and an Aerosmith tour book.
Guitar Hero: Aerosmith will hit shelves with the following prices:
$99 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Nintendo Wii
$89 for Playstation 2 (wireless guitar bundle)
$109 for Playstation 2 (two wired guitar bundle, containing both a gold and silver guitar)
Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is the next scheduled release in the hugely popular Guitar Hero franchise. The player will assume the role of the rock band Aerosmith, and play many of the band’s hits along with hits from other bands, as they strive for rock superstardom. The game boasts Aerosmith tracks such as “Ragdoll” and “Sweet Emotion,” along with tracks from bands such as Joan Jett, The Clash, Cheap Trick, and The New York Dolls.
