In a pair of related and interesting stories, word is coming out that gamers will be able to download free songs from both Disturbed and South Park by purchasing each brand’s respective new releases.

Shacknews is reporting that anyone who preorders Disturbed’s upcoming album will receive a unique code that will allow them to download two new songs for free from Xbox Live (and presumably PSN). The included tracks are "Inside the Fire" and "Perfect Insanity," both cuts from the new album. The songs will also be made available in June to everyone, though no price has yet been disclosed.

Following a similiar track, a leaked release from MTV to retailers seems to indicate that anyone purchasing South Park: Season 11 on DVD (available August 12), will receive three free Rock Band tracks. Details are scarce, and it remains to be seen if the music will be from the show or something else entirely. But hey, you were going to buy it anyway right? So now this is just icing on the cake.
