Those of you that were eagerly awaiting Sierra’s Prototype are going to have to wait a while longer, as the game has been delayed until sometime in 2009. A Sierra PR representative recently spoke with GameSpot and confirmed that the team simply needs more time to create the kind of game that was originally promised to the public. When asked if the creation of a multiplayer component had anything to do with the game’s delay, the representative stated that the inclusion of multiplayer is still being evaluated. Although delays can tamper with the gaming community’s very fickle patience, we appreciate the people behind Prototype trying to get the best possible product out to the public.
